Kamen Rider Kuuga is a character in Kamen Rider: Battride War series. Though the original Kuuga is playable in all Battride War games, the A. R. Kuuga was non-playable in the first game, then was absent in the second game Battride War II, until he is promoted playable in Battride War Genesis.

BiographyEdit

OriginalEdit

Long ago, the Grongi Tribe terrorized the Linto until a warrior named Kuuga appeared and defeated the Grongi, sealing their leader within a cave. In the present day, a multi-talented man named Yuusuke Godai finds himself linked to the mysterious stoned belt that was found within the excavated cave as the Grongi are resurrected and resume their murderous game on the descendants of the Linto, humanity itself. It is up to Yuusuke, along with the assembled Science Police, to use the various powers of Kuuga in order to halt the Grongi Tribe's serial killing spree and ensure the happiness of others. However, as the endgame draws near and Yuusuke's allies unearth more data on Kuuga's capabilities, Yuusuke learns that there is a horrible revelation behind Kuuga and the Grongis' leader.

A.R. WorldEdit

Thought this version of Kuuga is different, Yusuke Onodera has a similar story as the original universe's Kuuga, Yusuke Godai however, Odonera has a very self-confident and gullible childlike personality, a stark contrast to Godai. Yusuke supports the police in fighting the Gurongi and has feelings for Detective Ai Yashiro, as he fights to see her smile. When Yusuke first discovered the Arcle Belt, he is the first to be warned of Decade's existence as the "devil" by Narutaki. Yusuke rarely engages in battle while journeying with Tsukasa, after his sister's death. He does, however, act as an inspirational figure to the other Riders, as can be seen with his aiding of Wataru, as well as his actions in the other Riders' worlds. However during the Rider War, though his world is destroyed, Yusuke still exists due to his travelling of the Nine Worlds. After he was turned into the KamenRide Card by Decade in The Last Story, he and his world are restored. Fortunately, he allowed Decade to be revived and defeated the newly formed Super Shocker once and for all.

Both Kuugas are a charge characters who utilizes a charged attacks to unlock a powerful forms. Though the same on the forms' gameplays, but some forms isn't include on some of these two certain Kuugas, making one of their playstyle mechanics on charge attack awakening forms are different mostly.

OriginalEdit

The original Kuuga has the ability to transform into the Rising version of one of his current main forms. Damage is increased while in these Rising forms, but his movesets stay the same. Until in Battride War II - onwards, only Rising Titan Form's + move is different.

For some unknown reason since Decade Strongest Form appearance, Rising Ultimate Kuuga originally meant to be in the game, but was dropped as the original Kuuga of having this form appeared outside TV series airing and Movie War, and the game series only focuses on adding form within a respective titled Riders' TV series airing and summer movie, and Movie War.

Red Eyed Ultimate Form is accessed by pressing R2 when the super gauge is at 50% or 100%. After transforming, Kuuga uses Pyrokinesis to create flames in a wide area in front of him, burning enemies. Unlike the original Kuuga's Ultimate Form (which is Red Eyes version), A.R. Kuuga's Ultimate Form act as his form change. The form is a controlled Black Eyes version, and utilizes a purple flames, as well as accessible after having enough via charge attacks from one of his 4 main forms, in place of Rising Upgrade and Amazing Mighty Upgrade Forms charge attack transformation instead. His flame explosion move on the other hand is more powerful than the Red Eyed version. However, worst of all that he lost an L1/L guard. In order to dodge enemies' powerful attack is to use Rider Cancel dodging.
