Kamen Rider Wizard is a playable character, debuted in Kamen Rider: Battride War and the first game's main protagonist.

BiographyEdit

Haruto was among the numerous individuals blessed with the potential to perform magic, called Gates. A former soccer player, he abandoned his dream of turning pro when he injured his best friend and teammate, Kazuya, during a tryout. As a child, he was forced to watch his parents die after they were badly wounded in a car crash. But the promise he made to his parents to keep hope alive in his heart saved Haruto's life years later when he was among the Gates sacrificed during a solar eclipse to create Phantoms. Able to keep his inner Phantom from tearing him apart from the inside through sheer willpower, Haruto was one of the very few to have survived the ritual and emerged with the ability to perform magic. Haruto receives the Wizardriver from the White Wizard who saved him from the Phantom Lizardman, enabling him to combat the Phantoms as Wizard.

Motivated to give hope and save people from despair, Haruto took residence in Omokagedō to be provided with more Wizard Rings and, during the events of Kamen Rider Fourze the Movie: Space, Here We Come!, christens himself a Kamen Rider when inspired by Kamen Rider Fourze's definition of the title. Often misunderstood by others, Haruto now finds his mundane life boring now that he must fight the Phantoms while giving people hope. However, he finds solace in his love of doughnuts. In time, Haruto gained two more allies: a rookie detective named Rinko Daimon and a young man named Shunpei Nara. When Haruto first meets the Phantom Phoenix, sensing his inner Phantom, he obtains a new ring that allows him to use his inner Phantom's power. Though Wizardragon warned him of the dangers of manifesting his power in the physical world, Haruto's retort muses the Phantom as he gives his human self the power to defeat Phoenix. Eventually gaining another ally in Kosuke Nito, Kamen Rider Beast, Haruto gains the means to use Wizardragon's power in all four Styles prior to obtaining the Drago Timer to fully utilize Wizardragon's full power and defeat Phoenix. Haruto also encounters Mayu Inamori, the twin sister of the woman whom the Phantom Medusa was born from, who the White Wizard took under his wing to learn magic after restraining her inner Phantom.

Later, when the Phantom Legion attacks his Underworld and destroys Wizardragon from the inside, Haruto is rendered a normal human until watching Koyomi almost get killed caused him to regain his magic while using resulting the Infinity Ring that was created to destroy Legion and save Koyomi's life. Soon after, learning that Gremlin is actually Sora Takigawa in mind, Haruto is told of the Phantoms' leader Wiseman and the Philosopher's Stone while becoming troubled when told by the Phantom that Koyomi being able to survive spawning a Phantom is very unlikely.

Soon after an attempt to confront the stronger Wiseman that Haruto encounters Kazuya and reconciles with him prior to encountering Fueki, the White Wizard. With Mayu's return as Kamen Rider Mage, Haruto soon begins to question Fueki's agenda when later abducts Yuzuru Iijima, Kazaki, and Koyomi. Though Haruto feels he still could trust him when he learns he is Koyomi's father, giving his Infinity Ring to Mayu to exchange for her Holy Ring, Haruto is devastated to learn that Fueki is also Wiseman when he kills Medusa and claims Yamamoto. Confronting Fueki while learning that Koyomi is only a vessel of the original animated by the Philosopher's Stone, defeated by a mind-controlled Yamamoto, Haruto learns that he has been using the Phantoms to get three additional wizards to begin a new Sabbath that would fully revive Koyomi as Fueki attempted to do with the last one.

Though he accepted it at first if it meant saving Koyomi, Haruto is horrified to learn that Fueki intends to sacrifice everyone in Tokyo to ensure he succeeds. Luckily, Nito releases Beast Chimera to negate the Sabbath and Haruto confronts Fueki before he escapes. Finding Koyomi as she returns his Infinity Ring to him, Haruto is stopped from reviving her at her request so she can rest in peace and is instead made to promise to take the Philosopher's Stone far away so no one else would suffer.

However, while fighting Fueki, Haruto ends up watching Koyomi being killed by Sora as he claims the stone for himself. Shutting himself at Omokagedō as Sora proceeds to rampage the city, Haruto regains his composure and confronts the Phantom. Telling Sora they are not the same as he looks towards the future instead of the past, Haruto manages to get the Philosopher's Stone as it transforms into the Hope Ring that he uses to defeat the Phantom. Some time later, Haruto leaves Tokyo to honor his promise to Koyomi by hiding the Hope Ring in a place no one would ever find it..

During his journey, he was dragged into an alternate world, which was found inside the unidentified Magic Stone itself. In the Magic Stone world, he met a time-displaced Kosuke prior he received Hyper ring, and his younger counterparts of himself (who at the time is not a Kamen Rider, but able to summon the Legendary Heisei Riders to his bidding) and Koyomi, whom they mistaken him and Kosuke as enemies, as well as meeting the elder counterpart of one of his friends, including Wajima (whose apperance remained the same as the original counterpart). He and Kosuke are ambushed by the criminal mage monster Amadum, the stealer of the Heisei Riders' powers to break from the world he is currently stuck at. Lastly, he met Decade, who revealed to be a sentient and not doing the magic users' bidding, revealing the Heisei Riders Haruto summoned is from the same world as Haruto, as they (the Kamen Riders) fight for themselves, even not in a Kamen Rider form, then met Kamen Rider Gaim/Kouta Kazuraba twice, who is temporarly summoned to this world, then fully helped Wizard and the other 13 Heisei Riders to fight Amadum, after the young alternate Haruto learns that he might transform into a Kamen Rider instead of a monster as he helps in Amadum's defeat. Once Amadum is finished, Haruto entrust his counterpart his Infinity Ring.

Continuing his journey during Sengoku Movie Battle event, Haruto is currently located in a foreign land and soon being targeted by Ogre Phantom for the Hope Ring Haruto helding, and being stolen by Ogre for his use to revive Koyomi back, but recently evil by Ogre's will, rewriting her memories and able to transform into a female Kamen Rider Wiseman, then to devour Haruto's ultimate Phantom, Wizardragon. He returns to Tokyo to stop Ogre, and was encourage by his friends to accept Koyomi's peaceful death, and now sees the revived Koyomi he saw no longer Koyomi herself, with a little regret to kill her, causing her second death. He gives Koyomi, whose shortly return to her former-self, shortly before dies peacefully into a Hope Ring again, a heartwarming to remember their time. After that, Haruto had his guard down by the Ogre's sudden attack to invade his inner world however, he manage to use his Rider form copy to get inside his inner world to rescue Dragon from Ogre. Once he defeated Ogre, Haruto put the Hope Ring inside him, while being praised by Wizardragon that his ideal of hope and the inner world he create is now like the dragon Phantom's sweet home. Though the victory against Ogre is over, a Crack appears and the Pitcher Plant Inhumanoid jumps from it, kidnaps Nito through absorbing him as a prisoner before jumping back into the Crack, beside a red-colored Armored Kamen Rider resembling Gaim, known as Kamen Rider Bujin Gaim, leading Haruto to follow the Crack to save Nitoh. Once he found the crack and Pitcher Plant, whom attacking Kouta's friend, Mai, who is looking for Kouta and Mitsuzane under the Bujin Wizard Army's protection, Wizard saved her. Though Pitcher escaped, he manage to get Mai to Tokugawa Castle, both reunite with Kouta. He learned that his Sengoku World's counterpart, Kamen Rider Bujin Wizard has fallen, and Ieyasu, the leading his army becomes powerless, and currently has Gaim, and Ryugen (who at time also imprisoned by Pitcher, before the monster Nito). Feeling sad to hear his counterpart's downfall at Bujin Gaim's hand, Haruto will act as his counterpart's replacement to finish Bujin Gaim. With the help of Baron (after Gaim defeats him in his challenge), then Zangetsu, they manage to get Ryugen and Beast out of Pitcher's imprisonment to aid them against Bujin Gaim and his army of monsters. Haruto received a new Infinity Ring from Ieyasu, to honor his late-counterpart, then uses the Hope Ring implanted Finish Strike Ring to transform into Infinity Dragon Gold, while Beast as Hyper form and the four main Armored Kamen Riders transform into the Neo-Heisei Rider Arms respectively (Gaim Wizard Arms, Baron OOO Arms, Zangetsu Fourze Arms and Ryugen W Arms). With the power of the late Bujin Riders, Wizard and Gaim manage to defeat Bujin Gaim (whom had a power of Tree of Life in Locust Position state) for good. As the war is over, Ieyasu told Haruto to keep the Infinity Ring with him before he and his allies from their original world return back in a different ways, Haruto uses Teleport Ring enhance with the ability to go to A.R. World, while the Beat Riders (and Zangetsu secretly) go through using Bujin Gaim's Blood Orange, which is now at Mitsuzane's hand to return to the Inves Game Special Armored Rider event through entering a Helheim.

He is among the 7 surviving primary Heisei Riders (Joker in case, replacing Double during Phillip's absence) to combat 7 surviving Showa Riders while saving the world from Badan Empire, whom kidnapped Shu Aoi and brainwashed Ren Aoi into Kamen Rider Fifteen to do their bidding to ressurect death into came back wrong like the late-Masato Kusaka's spirit. During a final battle against Badan, after ZX reveal his cover to gather all Riders to prove their worth as the true Kamen Riders, and had Gaim, whose potential is powerful to be immune from Helheim's will in the future final arcs, releasing all primary Riders (with Joker suddenly transform to Double) from Helheim's imprisonment. When Faiz is being manipulated by Kusaka's ghost to do Badan's bidding to revive him, Haruto and Keisuke Jin/Kamen Rider X manage to convince him about accepting the death, keep moving forward to find a new life, thus freeing Shu and destroys Badan's machine, while Gaim in his Rider 1 Arms through using Showa Rider Lockseed defeats Fifteen in his Gaim Arms through using Heisei Rider Lockseed, freeing Ren Aoi from the belt's control. After Shu's departure to afterlife, and the last battle with Showa Riders to prove their worth for the future, with Gaim is the victor for risking his life to save the flower (the nature of the Kamen Riders' will) from Rider 1, leading Heisei Riders a victor, Haruto is seen eating a donut and embark his new journey.

All Wizard's normal (both standard and dragon in Battride War Genesis) style forms has same normal and aerial attacks. Although for Dragon styles only have different the last two normal strings.

As of Genesis, Wizard shares a similar playstyle as W's Form Change attacks and can only revert to his default Flame Style, but limited, yet can be used anytime, even after the Dragon Style upgrade limiter is at 0 (but the limiter gauge is hidden).

Wizard's Infinity Style is a separate DLC form for the first game. This form's gameplay is similar to Devil May Cry's Dante in his Swordmaster style. His Ultimate is a Triple Dragon Shining, in which arranged to the enemies in contact. Infinity Style is a fast character, as he can cancel most his special attacks or finisher into another special attacks or finisher (available at level 20). Most of all, this form has a neutral guard.

Except the special moves are different. Even though it has a same and moves as Infinity Dragon Style Gold, but has a different + moves, depents on what final form set you choose.

All Dragon Style is accessed by pressing R2 when the Final Form Set is on Set 1 and the super meter is at 50% or 100%. After transforming, Wizard performs the Dragon Dance. The form will reverts back to Flame Style when going to Bike Mode and cost amounts of super meter. Bewarned, any moves are related Dragon Styles' + Transformation moves are difficult to Rider Cancel, but lost Auto-Guard during the move.

It has a similar traits to All Dragons, such as (Running and Strings (except the last hit is now safer to cancel to special)), Air Dash (except it's Air Glide) and transform back to normal when used a bike. Except the special moves are different. Even though it has a same and moves as Infinity Dragon Style Gold, but has a different + moves, depents on what final form set you choose.

Infinity Styles has a neutral guard. All available in Final Form Set 2.

Infinity Style is accessed by pressing R2 when the Final Form Set is on Set 2 and the super meter is at 50% or 100%. After transforming, Wizard performs the a radial Dragon Shining to Helm Breaker. Infinity Style is a fast character, as he can cancel most his special attacks or finisher into another special attacks.

  • Flame Style's (Big) is good for long-range, later since BW2 as a combo starter from -String combo/Rider Cancel
  • Flame Dragon Style:
    • (Dragon Hell (Radial)) is good against surroundings and a combo starter -String combo/Rider
    • + (Dragon Breath) is good for long-range
  • Water Styles and Land Styles are very well-round to use:
    • Water Style has Invisible Armor Throw followup when (Bind) is hit successfully, or before the throw can Rider Cancel to jump then air attacks, when the enemies are binded
    • Land Style:
      • (Defend) can deflect enemies' attacks. However...
      • (Drill) has an Invisible Armored during the moves
  • Flame and 4 normal Dragon Styles' ((Dragon) Strike Wizard) has a great evade, not only because it has Auto-Guard during the attack move
  • Hurricane Style
    • Meant to be a great aerial fighter for having (Extend) aerial followup properties. However...
    • (Hurricane Slash Strikes) has a double projectile
  • Hurricane and Final Form's Styles (except standard Infinity Style) has an Air Dash

Weaknesses/ConsEdit

  • Has Two Final Form Sets, which needs to be picked before the gameplay starts
  • All 4 Normal Style lost some of Air melee attack from Super Climax Heroes, such as the Air is a gun shot instead, which is very weak against boss and large type enemies
  • Originally, all 4 normal Standard Styles' special moves lost frame traps due to not having equipment function skips during -String combo (prior BW2)
    • Except Hurricane Style's (Hurricane Slash Strikes) and all 4 normal Dragon Styled Transformation's + related moves still have this + also slow in Rider Cancel
  • Water and Land Dragon Styles' respective + (Dragon Smash and Dragon Ripper) are difficult to Rider Cancel
  • Land Style's (Defend) cannot deflect beams, radial projectile throw and anti-air
  • Hurricane Dragon Style's (Dragon Wing) can be sometimes difficult for aerial followups. Recommend to use Air Glide first
  • All 4 normal Standard Styles' special moves, including Land Dragon Style's (Dragon Claws) and all 4 normal Dragon Styles' (Dragon Strike Wizard) can only have Auto-Guard during the movements, outside equipment functions. Also for Flame and 4 main Dragon Styles' ((Dragon) Strike Wizard) are slow on Rider Cancel
  • 3 normal Dragon Styles (except Hurricane Dragon Style), while using Air Dash figure is still cannot perform Air Dash. Needs to be fix
  • Hurricane Dragon Styles' respective + (Dragon Sonic) lost its combo chain counts, instead of loosing frame traps when cancels from -Strings
  • Any final form's Styles except standard Infinity Style:
    • Last -String is a difficult to Rider Cancel
    • All Dragon has most of normal Dragon Styles' + moves and weaknesses for having a difficulties on Rider Cancelling
    • Special Rush Style's + (Dragon Breath) shares a same weakness as Flame Dragon Style's + (Dragon Breath), but much worst, leaving Wizard vulnerable

Vehicle/TransportationEdit

Wizards' bike is Machine Winger. While in the final forms (safe for Infinity Style) using the vehicle/transportation mode he will return in his original basic style form (particularly Flame Style by default), but cost amounts of super meters.
